Review: Use of Herbal Medicinal Products in Skin Treatments

Traditional medicine covers the rescue of methodologies and techniques cure, therapy, prevention diseases using medicinal plants. The objective this paper is to conduct a literature review on use herbal medicines in skin treatment. methodology used was conducted between 2015 2022 national journals. databases were Google Scholar, SciELO, VHL, PubMed, LILACS, following descriptors: "use treatments", "herbal treatments" and, "phytotherapy". most commonly plants babosas (Aloe vera L.), arnica (Arnica acaulis barbatimão (Stryphnodendron adstringens (Mart.) Coville), confrei (Symphytum officinale calendula (Calendula arvensis L.) melaleuca (Melaleuca alternifolia L.). parts leaves bark, infusion (tea) preparation method. Most cited have their healing power evidenced by scientific literature, thus favoring quality life individual who uses them. Thus, article, obtained expressive results for human health, moreover, they establish an important step bioprospecting, assisting choice target pharmacological verifications.
